Vision / future plan: The urbanization process, which is indispensable throughout the world, Uluberia cannot avoid to participate in the processes. Slowly and steadily this transformation is taking place here also.In the process of transformation from rural to urban structure, all possible points are considered for a balance development of the municipality. For this other stakeholders like KUSP ,KMW & SA. KMDA, PWD and Irrigation Department are involved. I am thankful to them also. The municipality has given more emphasis on local economic development (traditional base of cottage industries), healthcare and education. CDS members are engaged by this municipality for helping preparation of DDP. CMU under KUSP programme allotted money for Zari industries in building its infrastructure including house hold connection. We are really thankful to them for such support. During this planning processes sustainable financial planning was thought of, ways and means were explored and put in the proposal . we are thankful to the officers and employees of this municipality for extending active support while preparing this DDP.Hard labours of SAE and AE of the municipality leads the projects of BSUP, KUSP, JNNURM successful. Hope this would fulfill the desire and requirements of all categories of citizens.
