NARI-O-SISHU KALYAN KENDRA
The Vision:
The aspiration of Nari-O-Sishu Kalyan Kendra is for self-reliant society based on human values like cooperation, participation, justice, respect and love where people will participate in a decentralized political process, where the economy will be free from population and exploitation, the people will survive with their own indigenous socio-cultural. The envisioned society will be free from the forces of patriarchy and will be more peaceful and harmonious.
The Mission:
The Nari-O-Sishu Kalyan Kendra strives to unfold the down trodden marginalized people and to make them self-reliant with particular emphasis on socio-economy-politico-cultually vulnerable groups like women and children towards attaining the envisioned sustainable society.
Objective:
To develop human potentiality and critical awareness so that the identified group of people become able to organize themselves towards their empowerment.

TAJMAHAL GRAM BIKASH KENDRA (TGBK)
TAJMAHAL GRAM BIKASH KENDRA (TGBK) is located at Khaskhamar in Bauria Police Station under Uluberia-II block of District Howrah in West Bengal. It is only 25 kms away from the city of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.
TGBK is truly an exceptional organization in the field of rural development. This institution has a long history of its emergence. It has been functioning in the area since 1952. It is a voluntary body and was originally started with the library (Pathagar or Granthagar) Services at first. As a matter of fact this institution is popularly known as Tajmahal Library in the above delineated area.
A hut, made up of plam leaf was constructed for the library on a small plot of land and only 13 books were collected to extended the library with the assistance of local people who received these books as gift during the marriage ceremony. Muhammad Mujit Mollah, a brick field owner of Sarenga in Sankrail block of district Howrah, donated bricks for building. The building was constructed on the land donated by Late-Anjuman Bibi the mother of Sk. Md. Moinuddin, the founder architecture and general secretary of TGBK. To run the librery a fund was created by taking donations and collecting fees from the villagers.

The Mission of Tajmahal Gram Bikash Kendra is to provide meaningful opportunities for social, economic and political development of the marginalize community so that they gain dignity and respect in life, focusing on differentially vulnerable people, particularly women and children.
Vision
The vision of Tajmahal Gram Bikash Kendra is to provide opportunities for underprivileged person, particularly those who are socially deprived due to lack of knowledge, low economic status, empowerment and particularly vulnerable in HIV / AIDS and differentially challenged women and children from poor and marginalized families of minority community for their all round growth and development through awareness generation, income generating program and SHG formation, innovative, vocational training and capacity building and skill development.
